THEATRE OF DREAMS

Kingshott School in Hitchin opens state-of-the-art Ball Hall which not only meets all the needs as a multi-sport facility but also transforms into a performance, banquet, prize presentation or conference facility.

The school places great emphasis on both sport and drama, recognising the part they play in the individual development of the child. The facility adds a fantastic indoor sports option to their newly built all weather hockey pitch.

Kingshott Ball Hall has four badminton courts with changing rooms, staff office and a dance studio. The main hall is fully equipped with four cricket practice bays. A stairway leads to a control box for the sound and lighting systems when in function mode.

Full height black theatre drapes pull out around the hall and electronically operated tiered seating creates and auditorium for an audience of over 400.

For the schools prize presentation and other events there is included a “marquee” draping system which when used with the carpet system transforms the hall into a luxury indoor function venue.
